ABOUT ME

Life is about as real as it gets!

"Hello, I'm Gretchen, mama, mimi, friend, Jesus lover, nutritional therapist and mindset coach.

How did I get here?

I have always pursued the real, healthy, simple, whole and vibrant lifestyle.

I'm an enneagram 6 with a 7 wing

So I need to be sure about a thing and want to have fun doing it.

In the Meyers Briggs world I am a classic PROMOTER.

Hence the name of my practice - Catalyst.

We ate very simply and healthy when I was growing up and at the same time had

really unhealthy emotional eating habits around food.

It was a source of pseudo connection and comfort.

I remember always being unhappy with my weight and looks and

STRIVING to measure up and fit in.

As I started having children, I realized how key and vital food and nutrition was.

It directly affected my sons (4 of them with in 6 years) attention, sleep, skin, and digestion.

And this was all while still breast feeding.

I dove head first in to figuring out what was going on!

And I did, with food I resolved:

ADHD

Psoriasis

IBS

Constipation

 Ear infections

Food sensitivities

Migraines

With food alone, yup that's right - JUST FOOD

My PMS and mood swings where excellently managed with avoiding certain culprits.

I began to share and teach nutrition and wellness classes and found that I truly loved helping others live a more vibrant and healthy life.

Community ensured my success.

After working for years in a naturopathic office and then an acupuncture clinic, I went into holistic

healthcare and became a certified nutritional therapist and mindset coach because I saw a need

to support individuals in a

step by step

habit by habit

thought by thought

way.

I saw many people receive vague direction from their provider and look around lost and in need of help and guidance.

I have discovered that it is completely possible to create the life you love, with guidance, support and beliefs that get you there.

I can't wait to do that together!
