Hey there! I'm Gretchen, Nutritional Therapist and Mindset Coach.

 

I'm passionate about helping people connect to themselves and their original design: to live real authentic joy filled lives!

And that includes your relationship to food, health and wellbeing.

Is it possible to have REAL FOOD and REAL HEALTH ?

 

IT IS possible to live in freedom with food, in motion not restriction and punishment.

Oh, I so get the limited restriction thing.

 

One summer when I was 15, I was away from home.

 

The only thing I ate FOR 6 WEEKS was ORANGES!

 

What?

 

I wanted to loose weight to get back home to a boyfriend (eye roll, gagging sounds)

 

I know, ridiculous, but aren't we when it comes to food? 

​

For most of my young adult life food was a battle zone for me

 

it was a reward, a punishment, a necessary evil and just plain confusing. 

 

I had horrible PMS, fibroid pain, emotional mood swings, anxiety, bloating, acne and headaches, and I hated my body! 

 

I knew I needed to figure this out.

​

When I started having children I wanted to get healthy and I knew food was KEY.  

 

One of my sons had ADHD and I discovered food as a culprit.

 

With in days of removing sensitivities he was more calm, patient, and emotionally regulated.

 

 "Huh?" I wondered if that would work for me. 

 

Health and nutrition became my quest. 

​

Over the course of the next 20 years I was enthusiastically eating good, real and amazing food and...

​

I still deprived , rewarded and punished myself with food. And my adrenals, anxiety,PMS and weight were proof.

 

Fun fact: When under stress your body goes into survival mode and stops doing secondary tasks like balancing hormones. WHO KNEW?

​

It would be another 10 years, nutritional certification, mindset and limiting belief work and I would begin to uncover the underlying beliefs that limited my freedom with food and vibrant health.

 

I went from poor health outcomes to healthy,

​

from compulsive to empowered,

 

from shame to proud,

 

from self sabotage to I AM WORTHY OF HEALTH.

​

Food is a fun dance now

it's easy going

comfortable

relaxing

enjoyable

restorative

​

I have options, resources, value, optimism, trust, results and SOLUTIONS. 

​
