How does Nutritional Therapy Provider lead to Integrative Attachment Theory Provider? Your clients lead you there! People were asking me to talk with their children, their husbands, their wives, and what we were doing was working in more than just food!

What? The relationship we have to food and the habits that go along with it leads right to attachments. Food is a relationship, and if I have an insecure pattern with food, my subconscious is fighting with me, and my mindsets and core beliefs are working against my goals, plans, and dreams.

Why did I eat those chips?

I am not going to eat that, I am not going to eat that, I am not going to eat that. Why did I eat THAT?

I will just have one cookie.....Oh, I didn't see that kind - I'll try that one too, what is one more?

Que guilt, shame, and I'll start tomorrow. I can work all day on my lists, my food diary, and my S.M.A.R.T. goals, and my subconscious mind will always win. If my mindset is "I can't do this", I will be right.

When working with self-sabotage, we get to work with our subconscious
When working with self-sabotage, we get to work with our subconscious

Now we have tools and strategies to rewire the subconscious at a heart level and discover healthy life-giving strategies to get your needs met. Stopping behavior(the way we meet a need) is not the answer—the answer is creating life-giving strategies to meet the need.

When the mindsets match the goals, everything changes!

Then, a healthy, satisfying life happens. We are wired for satisfaction. I invite you to check out my new website, I will be expanding my coaching services and working directly to heal insecure relational attachments and continue to work with nutritional therapy clients.
